Lilypads provide our learners with transparency about what they need to learn, where they are at, and where they are going. Based on data, each learners’ frog is placed on a lilypad labeled level one two three or four. As they advance in their learning they can move their frog from lilypad to lilypad. The “Learning Facilitator pace” is indicated with a marker of its own, so group expectations are always transparent. This way, the learners always understand where they are at and where they are going.
